Hi there,

I have a question regarding the Browse Abandonment flow in Klaviyo. Currently, I have a flow with three emails set up to target users who browse products but don’t purchase.

What I would like to achieve is this: if a customer places an order after receiving the first email, they should not receive the second or third emails in the flow.

Could you please advise:

  • What filters or flow conditions should I use to ensure that once a customer places an order after receiving the first email, they are automatically removed from the flow?

  • Do I need to use any specific trigger filters, conditional splits, or tags to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance for your help! Looking forward to your guidance.

Hi @Oleh thanks for your question.

If you haven’t already set it up, add in the flow filters to the flow such as:
Placed Order 0 Times since starting this flow. If you want to also exclude people who have viewed but moved to checkout, you can add “AND Checkout started 0 Times since starting this flow”.

This will then filter out people who have purchased already since triggering the flow, as well as those who already started check out to prevent them from receiving many emails.

Hi Jocelyn,

Thank you so much.

This is an example of a flow filter set up for Browse Abandon. This way, if anyone purchases at anytime while they are within the flow, they exit the flow.

If they add to cart (assuming you have that flow set up) they exit the flow and enter that one.

If they start checkout at any time, they exit this flow and can qualify for your abandoned checkout flow.

Hope that helps. Set these up on the initial flow trigger.

Thank you
